The 营养技术计划 at Cuyahoga Community College is no longer accepting new program applications and will be discontinued effective May 16, 2025.
Current program students must complete their dietetic technology courses by the end of Spring 2025.

If you are not already an active Tri-C student, you must first apply to the College. If you are interested in more than one health careers program, you must submit a separate application for each program. You may only apply to three programs at one time.
The 饮食技术 program (DTP) gives students hands-on experience in class and in practicum/supervised practice.
Practicum experiences include all major areas of dietetics practice:
- Medical nutrition therapy in hospitals and nursing homes
- Geriatric nutrition in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities
- Community nutrition at senior centers, fitness centers and OSU Extension
- Food service management operations and delivery
DTP students deliver nutrition education and training to student groups and employees at Tri-C, 在实习地点和社区.
Students are encouraged to gain and maintain professional credentials through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. They also attend meetings of the Greater Cleveland Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
DTP is fully accredited by the 认证 Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).

The mission of the 饮食技术 program is to offer an educational program for individuals from multicultural and diverse backgrounds who aspire to enter the dietetic technician profession. Through didactic and practical experience, the curriculum prepares the graduate to become registered entry-level nutrition and dietetic technicians. The program seeks to assist the graduate in the development of knowledge, skills and ethical conduct.

Goal 1: The 饮食技术 program will prepare graduates to practice as entry-level registered nutrition and dietetic technicians.
- At least 80% of the students complete the program requirements within three years (150% of planned program length).
- 找工作的毕业生, at least 70% are employed in nutrition and dietetics or related fields within 12 months of graduation.
- At least 70% of the program graduates take the CDR credentialing exam for nutrition and dietetics technicians within 12 months of program completion.
- The program’s one-year pass rate for the CDR credentialing exam is at least 70%.
- Employer responses to surveys show 80% or more graduates are prepared for entry-level practice.
Goal 2: Program graduates will demonstrate a commitment to improving the overall quality of life in a multicultural community by developing and providing nutrition education.
At least 70% of the graduates surveyed report a commitment to developing and presenting nutrition education within three years of graduation.*
